You are a living sea, upon your rocks my delusion breaks - Shipwrecked skin yields to bone, splintered on the pages that I write - You loosen worlds from my lips - With quiet colors my mouth waxes every limb, primed to return to the source - Words caught in the hem of my breath, swell the tower of wayward thirst - Your billows burn in my phoenix breasts, as you rush at me with unseen winds - You fracture my wilderness of mind, through the cut the light bleeds - And like an untamed child, I steal away, to where everything is illuminated - You are the truth tethered to my heels, and with new eyes, I can see.
